July 2008 Update 1

Folks,

After many months of fantastic service, Michael Isom has handed the Employment Chair responsibilities off to me. Thank you Michael for all that you have done in this capacity. And thanks for what you are now doing for JRCLS in your new position.

As you may know, JRC Law School (BYU) has recently posted a call for applications for at least 4 teaching positions. Here is the posting:

The J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University is seeking applicants for a continuing faculty status track faculty position to begin Fall Semester 2009.

The ideal applicant will have a juris doctorate or other law degree. In addition, a successful applicant must have an outstanding academic background, a record (or indicated promise) of excellent scholarship, and an intense commitment to teaching research and writing that will leave no time for significant law practice or consulting. Anticipated curricular needs include Commercial Law, Negotiations, Federal Taxation, Professional Responsibility, Wills, Estates, Trusts, Administrative Law, and Employment Law, but all applications that satisfy the criteria in the preceding sentence will be considered.
